The Foundation funds a college scholarship program for Brown County High School graduates. Grant funds for this program are awarded to Scholarship America, the administrator of the program. Currently, there are 32 college students who are recipients of scholarship dollars. The Foundation’s goal is for 50 percent of BCHS graduates to earn a bachelor’s degree within five years of graduating from high school. This is also a work in progress, and there’s still more to do to reach our goal.
A maximum of 10 high school seniors will be awarded scholarships each year. These scholarships are renewable for four consecutive years, provided the student follows proper renewal processes and complies with the eligibility requirements.
