The Tracy Family Foundation funds a college scholarship program for Brown County High School graduates. Grant funds for this program are awarded to Scholarship America, the administrator of the program. Since the BCHS Class of 2011, 80 BCHS students have been selected to receive scholarships. The Foundation’s goal is for 75% of all BCHS graduates to earn a post-secondary credential within 5 years of graduating. This is a work in progress and there’s still more to do to reach our goal.
The scholarship program was expanded in 2019 to offer up to 15 4-year college scholarships and 15 2-year career and technical scholarships each year.
