Activities and organizations that directly impact academic achievement and excellence from Early Childhood to post-secondary education.
Since 2013, the Foundation has elected to place our pro-active education efforts in the following areas: Early Education, School Leadership, Catholic Schools, and Brown County Schools.
Early Education: Children Kindergarten-ready….ready to learn. We are in the process of researching and identifying potential avenues of investment by the Foundation in Early Education.
School Leadership: Quality teachers and quality school leaders are the two factors that impact student learning the most. The Foundation is partnering with the National Institute for School Leadership (NISL) and Regional Office of Education #1 to deliver the NISL award winning Executive Development Program (EDP) for school leaders. Public and private school educators working in the Illinois counties of Adams, Brown, Cass, Greene, Hancock, McDonough, Morgan, Pike, Scott, and Schuyler are eligible participants. To date, 90 educators from west central Illinois have graduated from the EDP program. By December 2020, the foundation anticipates a total of 163 educators will have completed the training. For more information, please contact Debbie Niederhauser at the Regional Office of Education: firstname.lastname@example.org
Catholic Schools: The Catholic faith and Catholic schools are a legacy of Robert and Dorothy Tracy. We have and will continue to invest in the Catholic schools in West Central Illinois. To learn more, click here.
Brown County Schools: Since 2006, the Tracy Family Foundation has been actively partnering with the K-12 schools in an effort to improve academic achievement for “Every Student. Every Level.” To learn more, click here.
