RT and Dorothy Tracy inspired the Tracy Family Foundation.
In 1997, the 2nd generation of the Tracy family created the Tracy Family Foundation (TFF) as a tribute to their mom and dad, Robert (RT) and Dorothy Tracy. They were inspired by their parents’ dedication to faith, family, and community and believed these values formed the people they had become. The Tracy family hoped the foundation would be a way for the family to share their many blessings and work together to ensure that RT and Dorothy’s philanthropic spirit would endure for generations to come.
Changing Lives For Future Generations.
Since 1997, the Tracy Family Foundation has operated with a precise vision for a better world. It’s a vision that Robert and Dorothy Tracy formed 60 years ago when they decided to start a family and a family business from the ground up in Mt. Sterling, Illinois.
That vision still exists today with many second, third and fourth generation Tracy family members around the United States. It’s the catalyst that helps the Tracy Family Foundation aim to make the impossible possible, the insurmountable achievable, and the dreams of many a reality.
Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded nearly 8,000 grants for nearly $70 million dollars to organizations serving their communities.
