Stronger Boards lead to stronger nonprofits.

Why?

Board leadership can have a dramatic impact on a nonprofit's overall success and sustainability. Much like the Nonprofit Roadmap Assessment, this assessment aims to help your Board achieve excellence.

Who?

The assessment is designed to be taken by executive leaders and Board members within an organization. It can be completed either individually, or together as a Board exercise. Questions should be answered honestly based on present practices. The results of your assessment will only be accessible to you and the Tracy Family Foundation and will not be used as criteria for grant awards.

Commitment

The assessment should take less than 30 minutes to complete. Once you are finished, you’ll receive an email report with a record of your evaluation and instructions on how to get started on your improvement journey. This instrument is free of charge.

Assessment Areas

The Board Development Roadmap Assessment will assess 7 Pillars of Board excellence:

1. Strategy

2. Engagement

3. Leadership

4. Fundraising

5. Composition
