About Stronger Us

It’s not about fixing something that’s broken, it’s about building on the good that already exists and investing in the future.

Stronger Us Brown County exists to help every marriage grow stronger, no matter where couples are on the journey!

STEP 1: Brown County couples can take a FREE, research-based marriage assessment designed to highlight both strengths and opportunities for growth. The results will be sent by e-mail to couples after both individuals have completed the assessment!

STEP 2: Couples can return to this site to access FREE research-based resources tailored to their results.

STEP 3: Couples can take advantage of meeting with our trained facilitators at no cost to the couple. Our Facilitators will assist them over 6 training sessions with skill-based exercises intended to strengthen the areas they most want to improve.

Strong couples build strong families, and strong families build a strong community. We’re here to support that mission.

“We believe couples can overcome any challenges they face, just as we have overcome many ourselves. We would love to help you navigate whatever you are facing.”

John & Patti Scranton

“John and I have been married 55 years and have faced our ups and downs. We're hoping through our life experiences to help any couple learn to communicate and nourish their relationship and grow in their love.”

Bill & Brenna Pherigo

"We believe investing in marriages is investing in families. Strong, healthy relationships help create stable homes where children can grow up seeing positive examples of love and commitment."

Brett & Schuyler Isley

“We know we're far from perfect. We've embraced our own marriage as a journey that takes time, patience, attention, give and take, and a willingness to share, and we're still growing every day. This initiative will help couples in Brown County have more open, honest conversations about their relationship and will create space to grow in communication without judgment.  It encourages people to truly value marriage and to keep working through hard seasons rather than give up too quickly. What a blessing to walk this journey alongside other couples!"
