About Stronger Us
It’s not about fixing something that’s broken, it’s about building on the good that already exists and investing in the future.
Stronger Us Brown County exists to help every marriage grow stronger, no matter where couples are on the journey!
STEP 1: Brown County couples can take a FREE, research-based marriage assessment designed to highlight both strengths and opportunities for growth. The results will be sent by e-mail to couples after both individuals have completed the assessment!
STEP 2: Couples can return to this site to access FREE research-based resources tailored to their results.
STEP 3: Couples can take advantage of meeting with our trained facilitators at no cost to the couple. Our Facilitators will assist them over 6 training sessions with skill-based exercises intended to strengthen the areas they most want to improve.
Strong couples build strong families, and strong families build a strong community. We’re here to support that mission.

Sure, you could place that nail in the wall with the end of a screwdriver, but it’d sure be easier with a hammer. The same thing is true with marriage. You may be in a great spot today, but all marriages go through tough seasons and we want you to have tools in your toolbox that make the inevitable struggles a little easier to fix down the road!

No. While we think couples taking time to explore their relationship with a professional counselor is an incredible idea, our facilitators are not professional therapists. They’ve simply been trained to walk you through some tried and true , research based exercises that help you build skills around the topics research has shown contribute to a happy, healthy marriage!

Click on the link above to schedule time with one of our trained facilitators. Fill out the google form and we will pair you with facilitators that match you and your schedule! They will reach out to you to schedule your sessions on dates that work for both of you! There are between 5-7 sessions depending on your schedule!

Our trained facilitators are well versed in walking you through exercises that will help you become better at conflict, work through issues you thought could not be fixed, and find ways to be understood and to understand. They take it one step at a time, and are more teachers of skills than counselors!
Because more tools in the toolbox means you’re better equipped to work on whatever needs fixing down the road.
