Terry began his career in Mental Health in 1985 with the US Military. Upon completing his commitment to the military, he continued as Mental Health Counselor for Cornerstone and Chaddock in Quincy, Illinois until 1999, when he started his leadership journey. Between the years of 1999-2015, Terry served in leadership roles at Chaddock, Cheerful Home and John Wood Community College. He managed two residential treatment cottages at Chaddock, oversaw operations at Cheerful Home, and oversaw workforce development and noncredit programming at John Wood before joining the Tracy Family Foundation.
In 2015, Terry became a Program Manager for the TFF where he leads all the nonprofit capacity building efforts. He has a passion for continuous learning, coaching, and developing nonprofits and their leaders. In addition, Terry oversees the proactive efforts within the TFF’s newest focus area, Mental Health.
Terry lives in Quincy, IL with his wife of 23+ years. He enjoys spending time with their two children and one grandchild as well as cycling outdoors.
